I am constantly on the hunt for something that is made with healthy ingredients, but as a Nanny I am also always looking for something that tastes delicious and is allergen free. I have found the solution in Made Good snacks!
What Exactly Does “Allergen Free” Mean?
Allergen Free means that these are made without all of the Top 8 most common food Allergens:
- Peanuts
- Tree Nuts**
- Dairy
- Eggs
- Wheat
- Fish
- Shellfish
- Soy
***Some of the products may contain coconut which is considered a tree nut by the FDA. However, it is generally safe even for people who avoid the top 8 allergens. If you are allergic to tree nuts, please ask an allergist before consuming coconut.
These snacks are also made in a facility free from sesame and gluten.
I have tried a few of these delicious products and haven’t been disappointed by a single treat (and I also have the approval of some very picky kiddos)! While results will vary and may not work for everyone, I hope it helps!

Our Favorite
I borrowed some kiddos and got to snacking! We tried the Strawberry Granola Minis, The Crispy Squares, The Mixed Berry Bars, and The Strawberry Crispy Light Granola.
Our favorite were the Granola Minis! Some of the ingredients that are in the Granola Minis include beets, broccoli, carrots, spinach and even Shiitake mushrooms! This makes them full of vitamins, fiber and FLAVOR! They’re small, round, bite-sized pieces that are delicious! I think the kids loved that they could have their granola in small pieces rather than in bars. Also, as they mentioned, “it’s not crunchy granola” but it is soft and chewy. There were no complaints whatsoever, and we finished the box in two days!
Overall,
the kids and I actually liked all of the things we tried, but the least favorite were the Crispy Squares. I think the main reason is because they were expecting it to taste the same as a homemade rice crispy treat, which it admittedly does not. We did finish the box, but probably won’t buy more. I highly recommend this amazing brand and hope that they make your family as happy as they did ours!
